Steel Cup Brush Pig
Steel cup brush pigs pair a carbon steel body and replaceable polyurethane cups with circular brushes or carbon steel block brushes on wear-compensating springs. They are used for pre-commission and on-stream cleaning of crude oil, refined product, and natural gas pipelines where rust, mill scale, sand, wax, organic growth, mud, and oxides exist. Brush styles include WWB (2 in–8 in), SRB (6 in–14 in), and LRB (16 in and up).
