Conical Cup Pig

Conical cup pigs are high-sealing models that offer greater flexibility than standard cleaning pigs. They can pass through internal diameter changes or dents of up to 25% (compared with approximately 10% for standard scraper cups). These unidirectional models are commonly used for batching (product separation) or gauging pipelines after construction or before an inline inspection tool run. Two-, three-, and four-cup models are available, with optional brushes, magnets, and transmitters. Their compact bodies and skirt-shaped cups provide both sealing and flexibility. The thick cups also support long runs. For dedicated cleaning applications, cutting or scraping discs are recommended. A guide disc can be added ahead of the front cup on gauging models to improve stability and centering.

Models

VP-2, VP-3, VP-4, and VP2BR (brush)

Options

Gauging plate, brushes or blades, transmitter cavity, magnets
