Our standard pigs range from 2 in to 60 in, but that’s where most catalogs stop and where we keep going. We design and manufacture larger pigs, custom lengths and diameters, and configurations for lines that change size along the way.
Sizing matters more than most people think. A pig’s outside diameter needs to be slightly larger than the pipe’s inside diameter to seal and clean properly. The industry standard is 1% to 5% oversize, with about 2% as the ideal. If a pig is too small, fluid bypasses it. If it’s too large, it can stall or get stuck. We size every custom pig to your actual line conditions, not just the nominal pipe size.
