Launchers and receivers are used to launch and receive pigs during pigging operations.  They allow for the safest and most practical method for launching and receiving pipeline pigs when compared to field launching/receiving techniques.  Units are available for both sale or rent. 
  

Sale units are manufactured to customer specifications with options including carbon-steel, stainless-steel, fiberglass, or polyethylene construction; flanged or weld-end mating; blind-flange or closure door (see "Closures" for more information); flanged or threaded connections; pressure ratings from ANSI class 150 to 2500; ASME code stamp; manual or automated operation; pig detector capability; varying lengths for accommodating intelligent pigs and/or special pigging procedures.

 

Rental units are ANSI 150 which is more than adequate for off-line pigging operations.  Adaptor spools are available for mating to higher pressure-rated lines.  Both weekly or monthly rates are available and rental charges can be applied to the purchase price if so desired by the customer.
