Displacement Pigs (Disc Type)
Disc displacement pigs are used for standard pigging operations such as filling and dewatering during hydrostatic testing, routine batching operations, product removal, or any pigging operation requiring bidirectional use. These pigs are also very effective for product separation. They are available in sizes from 2" through 48" with configurations including 2-disc and 4-disc as standard. They can easily be equipped with a gauging plate and used to prove pipe roundness and to ensure excessive weld penetration or debris does not exist, as well as, prove minimum bend radius prior to intelligent pig use.
